Belkin’s SoundForm ANC Wired Earbuds Are No Threat to AirPods

Spread the love

A compilation of wired earbuds inside a desk drawer next to me i can never toss out myself. Although I basically I used Bluetooth Wireless Yearbods for many years – usually Airpodes Pro – Sometimes it is best to listen to a wireless connection just one cable to be plugged. One thing that is missing? The cancellation of active words, or the ANC.

I check in from time to time in the wired earned with the ANC and I usually get frustrated. ANC needs to be driven, and you can’t get it from 3.5 mm headphone jack, so solutions like a battery pack embedded or adding a feature through a cable of earbods Separate the USB-C-driven DongleDitch the wired audio battery-free facility. It’s the same to use Bluetooth over-Year wireless headphones with ANC as wired headphones. Yes, you can do it with most wireless over-ear, but they still need energy for their sound filtering, and some even if their battery becomes a simple headphone.

Finally, in the early September, Belkin was almost exactly what I was searching for: $ 29.99 ANC wired earbods (USB-C). I am the best of them This IFA 2025Where I got them comfortable, lightweight and they sound decent, but it was based on the use of their noisy show, which was not enough for their evaluation. Thanks, Belkin sent me home with a pair to review.

Belkin’s new soundform ANC Wired Yearbods do not have the best word cancellation but they are convenient, cheap and sounds great for what they are.

  • They will never finish the battery

  • Decent, balanced

  • Ease

  • Great for phone calls

  • Cheap!

  • Weak ANC

  • The wires make a lot of noise when they push

  • Only works with devices that support audio through USB-C

I always like the latest Airpodes professionals from first generation Airpods Pro 3The But as good as they are, their wireless connection can still be flakey, especially after year after year after battery and physical wear and tiara, sometimes not mentioning the sometimes compulsory firmware update that makes them strange. As I identified myself as “not your Airpodes Pro” when I opened the case for months, only after the release of the firmware update that matched with Airpods Pro 3 only returned to normal. It is not good to go back to plugging just something-there is no privacy-breaking-breaking-breaking-breaking-breaking. Only music or podcasts when I want.

Belkin’s SoundForm ANC Wired Yearbods are playful – almost my above Airpodes Pro size – but for me, I don’t really notice them in my ear that is quite light weight. These are also IPX 5-rated, which means that they are not dusty, but they should tolerate their sweat and water splash Airpods Pro 2 was IPX 4 or IP 54, depending on whether you bought Thunderstorm or USB-C versionThe SoundForm ANC wired earbods come to both alternatives in black and white, and they use a flat cable that is flexible and jot-resistant.

Their in-ear tips are made of a soft silicone that is much more resistant than Apple’s airpods that my earwax. (Sorry if it is obese to read it, I know that it happens in a lot of you)

Belkin’s wired earbods are stylish in some ways. The volume and play/break buttons in the inline control module work as you expect, but the three volumes of both above and below are as awkward as hell holding both volumes: the sound boost, imbalanced audio and balconin signature. And I am not sure that the ANC and Transparency Mode I like the way I am activated, with a button on the side of the module long-press, without considering a long squiiz to do the same thing in the Airpods Pro. It wants to work on me something else about being a physical button. But these are minor complaints, and I could see that I didn’t really want to change the EQ preset after I set the bus boost once.

The biggest understanding name is exactly: they connect to USB-C instead of a 3.5mm headphone plug. This means you can’t use them with old devices like MP3 player or pre-USB-C handheld game consoles. I have confirmed that they work with me IPhone 15 Pro, Google Pixel 6Both of me Apple Silicon Mac and me Nintendo switch 2The Nintendo’s latest handheld star 2 Switch Pro ControllerWhich has a 3.5mm audio jack that allows you to use headsets for gamechat, USB-C does not support headphones. And just so we are clean, both do not do that Switch of the first generationWith OLED modelA lot of my disappointment.

Nevertheless, it is good to know everything I want to use wired headphones with him, the earbuds of Belkin work well with most. The USB-C also introduces another problem: longevity, or its possible lack. Belkin SoundForm ANC Wired earbods seem to have a tough USB-C plug but I just tested them for about a month. Every time they are plugged and plugged over time, they are bound to wear the process that clips a USB-C port. I hope Belkin has done a good job with them and they will last over the years, but only time will say that it is.

Test, test, 1-2-3

So how do they sound? Belkin decorated the SoundForm ANC Ward Yearbods with a 12mm driver, put them on the right Airpods Pro 2 And 3. The driver’s size is not everything, and Belkin only charges $ 30 for these earbods, so I didn’t expect miracles – and they didn’t give me anything! However, they have surpassed my expectations with the Panchi bus, which is not too much bombs, and the midrange and triggeon, which is not mud or ear piercing tinner respectively. By comparing them with Airpods Pro 3, their sound profile is very cool with thin low-end. This is not a fair comparison, though (AirPods Pro 3 is all over the top). Overall, they are quite decent, I have kept a much better sound than expected from the same price wireless earned.

When you start to focus on details that show the price tag. When you turn the soundform ANC cable earned for about 80 percent or more, the alloy becomes obscure and weakened. And there is no definition in the song they need; Belkin’s earbods did not bias for tracks like Tom Wets “Green Grass”, with excessive emphasis on its cracking audio, and it considered to be more amateur than a rugd stylistic choice. The earbods also have a very narrow -sound stage, with the audio you hear very limited in the middle area of your ear. When I’m listening to something like Tom Wets songs I actually like it intimate feelings but it’s not ideal for a bomb track like the “Fire and the Flemes” of the Dragonforce. There are also lots of wire sounds that vibrate its path in the earned. Whenever I turned my head and the cable against the wire face hair was scraped only when I heard it, and when I got the wire or tap it with my finger it was a loud lip.

SoundForm ANC wired earbods simply lightly discard – they will block my small desktop fan in my office, but in general, they only do well with certain drone words. While walking around a busy street around me, it sounds enough to listen to ANC music and podcasts or to make phone calls, but these will be your last resort, say, a plane or a city bus. The earbods also have modest voice isolation. The friend I called during this walk said that when they said that there were cars around, my voice was loud and clear. The ANC closed the voice wasolated with the isolation, as my friend suddenly heard the sound of more wind and the car. By any means, though they said that I am clear and understandable throughout the whole call. This is not always the case with my Airpods Pro 2, which is cut off in large quantities and I need to constantly repeat myself while outside the phone call.

I really don’t expect Belkin SoundForm ANC Wired earbods to like me like me. My Airpods Pro 3 is not at risk of replacement by them, but during the examination, they went to me, at any time I was playing my nintendo switch 2, and I loved to use them while sitting on my laptop and working. I still use wireless yerbods if I get up and almost for most reasons I just find all the words from the wire bumping or rub, well, something is very confusing.

I loved the experience, which is analogous to the past when I have never had the Bluetooth pair and my earbods worked with any output words. This is not the same, since I can’t use them, my Sony PS Vita or my old Apple iPod Nano, but most of the devices I use in my daily life have a USB-C port nowadays and almost all of them work with the earbuds of Belkin. An exception was with my switch 2 Pro controller, which simply gives the audio output through its 3.5mm audio jack. I didn’t actually expect to do it with the USB-C port at the top, but if it wouldn’t have been dense?

If you are missing the wired earbuds or you want something that is close to a modern Bluetooth audio experience, without minor, simple-harsh-harsh earbods and fear of getting out of the battery, they are a simple recommendation for less than $ 30. Belkin’s SoundForm ANC Wired earbods (USB-C) will be found on Belkin’s website on October 17 and then on Amazon.
