US President Donald Trump is considering sending long -distance missiles to Tomahouk to Ukraine, saying this would provide a “new step of aggression” in his war with Russia.

Asked Air Force One if he would send Tomahowks to Ukraine, Trump replied, “We’ll see … I could.”

The following is a second phone call over the weekend between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, who insisted on stronger military capabilities to launch counterattacks against Russia.

Earlier, Moscow warned Washington not to provide long-distance missiles to Kiev, saying that it would lead to a major escalation in the conflict and would strain American-Russian relations.

Tomahawk rockets have a range of 2500 km (1500 miles), which will place Moscow within Ukraine.

Trump talks to reporters while flying to Israel. He said he would possibly talk to Russia about Tomahowks requested by Ukraine.

“I could tell them (Russia) that if the war is not settled, we may not do it very well, but we can do it.”

“They (Russia) want Tomahawks to go in their direction? I don’t think so,” the president said.

Kiev has made numerous long -range rocket demands as he weighs striking Russian cities away from the front lines of the digestion conflict.

In their phone calls, Zelenski and Trump discussed Ukraine’s candidacy to strengthen their military capabilities, including strengthening its air protection and long -distance weapons.

Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, have fallen under many heavy Russian drones and rockets. Russia is particularly aimed at the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, causing an interruption of electricity.

Last month the Trump Special Messenger in Ukraine Keith Kellog has suggested that the US President allowed strikes Deep in Russian territory, telling Fox News “There are no such things as shrines” from attacks in the war in Russia-Ukraine.

Russia, which launched its full -scale invasion in Ukraine in February 2022, has diminished Tomahowks’ chances of changing the course of the war.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said last month: “Whether it’s Tomahoux or other missiles, they will not be able to change the dynamics.”
