The United States has hit another ship off the coast of Venezuela, killing six people, said President Donald Trump.

In a publication on Truth Social Trump said the ship belonged to “drug -combined” and that it was “drug trafficking”.

This is the fifth strike of its Trump administration on a boat, accused of drug trafficking in international waters since September. A total of 27 people were reported, but the US did not provide evidence or details about the identities of the vessels or those on their board.

Some lawyers have accused the United States of breaching international law, and neighboring countries such as Colombia and Venezuela have condemned strikes.

In his truth, Trump said that “intelligence confirmed that the ship is drug trafficking, is associated with illegal drug networks and undergoes a known” smuggling route.

He also posted a video of air monitoring showing a small boat of water, which was struck by a rocket and exploded.

Trump did not specify the nationality of the people on board or in what kind of drug smuggling organization is suspected of belonging. He added that no US military staff was injured.

The strike comes after a recent expiring note sent to the Congress and reported the US media saying that the administration has found that the United States is in a “non -intelligence armed conflict” with drug addicts.

The United States has positioned its blows to the alleged drug trafficking vessels as self -defense, although many lawyers question their legality.
