Pony AI and Warid received a key approval from Chinese Security Controllers that clear the way to follow the secondary list on the Hong Kong stock exchanges of autonomous vehicle technology agencies.

Chinese companies, both located in Guangzhou, have already traded on the Nasdak Exchange in the United States. Wardrid made the debut publicly in October 2024 and followed Poni a month later.

Now, each of the PoniAIs and Waryrid has aimed to sell shares on the Hong Kong Exchange, followed by a trend of Chinese companies that followed a secondary list.

Poni AI and Warred said that the China Securityz Regulatory Commission has issued a notice for approval of their proposed list, according to Regulatory filing Report to the US Security and Exchange Commission. The CSRC has the ultimate authority to determine whether a company can be public abroad.

Both companies seem to be ready to proceed with their respective global offers and lists. Reuters reports that Warder Morgan Stanley and China have appointed the International Capital Corp to work on Hong Kong’s dual initial list. There are plans to finish the list in December.
