Spotify is introducing a new feature that will let users follow venues to get updates and details on concerts scheduled to take place there.

The venues you follow are saved in your library, and you can browse them to view event calendars, scheduled concert information, and announcements. Users can filter upcoming shows in venues by genre.

The company is also updating Its live event feed Daily instead of weekly to provide latest event updates.

As before, users can tap on upcoming shows to book tickets through listed ticket partners. Tested with Spotify Selling tickets itself in 2022But since then that business hasn’t talked about expansion. The company currently partners with ticketing platforms such as Live Nation and Ticketmaster, rather than selling tickets directly from an artist’s page.

The company released earlier this year A new weekly updated playlist called “Concerts Near You”. which lists 30 songs from artists performing around the user’s location, along with details about their next show.

Spotify’s rivals are also focusing on improving live event discovery on their platforms. In February, SoundCloud partnered with Ticketmaster and Live Nation to offer artists Their page lists upcoming shows.
