Before and after the Pacific Palisades wildfires

Village Palisades and Pacific Palisades have been devastated by the fires that have been raging in Los Angeles.

A walking tour video filmed in March last year by lifestyle bloggers Simran and Ishan shows the lush gardens, villas, luxury shops and sea views that once characterized the area.

But ten months later, after the fire destroyed the neighborhood, a Reuters cameraman retraced the steps of the walking tour with footage that showed charred building envelopes, mangled cars and streets covered in ash and debris.
