WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence plans to attend President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday. New York Times (NYSE: ) reported on Friday, citing two people with knowledge of the plan.
Reps for Pence and Trump did not immediately comment.
Pence, who was vice president in Trump’s first term, ran against the former president in last year’s election to become the Republican presidential nominee.

Pence, who did not endorse his former boss before the 2024 election, had a strained relationship with Trump at the end of his first term from 2017 to 2021.
