WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered federal health agencies to stop all external communications, such as health advisories, weekly scientific reports, website updates and social media posts, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday. The guidance was issued on Tuesday to agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services, including officials from the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health, the newspaper reported.

Trump took office on Monday.
