US may offer ‘very large rewards’ to Taliban leaders, Secretary of State Rubio told Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States may offer a “very large bounty” on top Taliban leaders, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday.

In a post on social media X, Rubio said: “The Taliban are taking more American hostages than reported.”

“If this is true, we should immediately give their top leaders a much bigger bounty than what was on bin Laden,” he added.
