Ads might be coming to Apple Maps next year

Apple Maps users may start seeing ads in the app as soon as next year, according to A new report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Apple will try to differentiate itself from the competition with a better interface and use AI to show relevant results.

The question, says Gurman, is whether Apple device owners will start to revolt as Apple devices and apps increasingly become billboards trying to convince you to pay for more Apple services.
