A few months after the announcement A $3 million pre-seedAI networking startup Bordy Crendam is back with an $8 million seed announcement.

The company connects users with other people when they call an AI agent who chats with them for a while and then connects them with others it thinks they should know. Since launching and announcing pre-seed in October, company co-founder and CEO Andrew D’Souza said the company has made more than 10,000 phone calls, facilitated more than 9,000 calls and helped startups land partnerships and investments.

D’Souza says the key to this $8 million round is that investors reached out to him organically after trying his product.

“They spoke to Bordi directly before they spoke to me or anyone on the team,” D’Souza said, reached by email.

Others in the round include Andy Dunn, Leah Brusk and Andrew Yeung.
