Charlie Kirk’s Memory Service to be held at Arizona Stadium

The Right Activist Memorial Office Charlie Kirk will be held on September 21 at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona, a place where more than 60,000 people can be accommodated.

Turning Point USA, the Kirk organization, co -founded, made a message on social media, inviting the public to celebrate its “remarkable life and lasting heritage”.

The 31-year-old Kirk was shot dead on Wednesday during an outdoor speaking event in Utah. His suspected killer, Tyler Robinson, was arrested on Thursday night after surrendered to police.

President Donald Trump is expected to attend the deadline, along with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Before he left for Israel on Saturday, Rubio said he would return in time for the Kirk memorial and remember him as a “great young man”.

“I admired all the things he said and did on campuses, and again a huge influence on young people, above all,” he said.

Arizona marks an important place for Kirk – this is the location of the Turning Point USA headquarters and where he and his wife lived with their two children before his death.

Earlier on Saturday, Kirk’s widow, Erica, made her first public remarks after her husband’s death, promising to keep her inheritance alive.

In a live broadcast from the Turning Point USA’s headquarters, the 36 -year -old d -Ja Kirk turned to what she called the “evil performers” responsible for her husband’s death.

“You have no idea the fire you lit within this wife, the cries of this widow will echo the world as a fighting cry,” she said.

“They all need to know this: if you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before you had no idea, you have no idea what you have just unleashed throughout this country and this world.”

In a later post on Instagram, Kirk repeated these comments and posted videos and pictures of her sitting over her husband’s open ark and kissing his hand.

Kirk was shot while hosted one of his signature, proves me wrong debates at the University of Utah, while occupying a question about weapons and transgender people in the United States.

Tyler Robinson was removed on September 12th and is in prison of Utah County without a guarantee where he was on a special watch to determine if it was a risk to himself or others, police told the US partner of BBC News.

He is expected to appear his first court appearance next week, where he will also be officially charged.

After Kirk’s death, Trump announced that he would reward him a posthumous presidential medal for freedom – the highest civic honor – calling him “the giant of his generation and champion of freedom”.
