With a road root cord for the entire grain and crunchy, sweet-salty fruit plate, these little gems are perfect treats for sharing during the holidays. Dried cranbers are a good source of fiber (4g per 1/2 cup), but because they are natural duties, many brands are loaded added sugar (1). Fortunately, there are brands of dry cranberries that contain less added sugar or are sweetened with apple juice. Read the labels carefully and you can cut extra sugar.

Charging
Oven heating at 350 ° F (177 ° C). Line 8-inch (20 cm) Square baking vessel with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch cover on two opposite sides to create a belt for easy removal.
To make a crust: In the food processor, combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Pulse several times to mix. Add butter and pulse until the mixture reminds that rough crumbs, with pieces of butter not larger than lenses, about 20 pulses.
Add vanilla extract and 1 tsp. Pulse 5 times or just until the dough starts to slaughter together. The mixture should be easily kept together when pressed between your fingers. If it feels too dry, add more water, 1 teaspoon at once, briefly pulsing after each plugin.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared container and press the even layer firmly. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the crust is slightly golden. Remove from the oven and stand out.
To fill in: In the middleware, whisk together maple syrup, melted butter, egg extract, and salt extract until smooth. Stir with chopped nuts and dried cranes.
Pour even filling over warm bark. Return the pan to the oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until charging is a balloon, and nuts are light trash.
Transfer the pan to a wired rack and allow to cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Use the parchment cover to raise bars from the pan. Cut into squares before serving.
