The Luohu UAM Center, designed by EHang, features an automated three-dimensional vertical elevator vertiport. This innovative facility reduces labor costs and optimizes space utilization through its automated operations. The 753 square meter Luohu UAM Center brings this outstanding design to life. The first floor is dedicated to the hangar and boarding area, giving passengers a seamless and comfortable experience. A takeoff and landing pad integrated with the hangar enables rapid battery charging, thereby streamlining flight operations. During the launch ceremony on January 21, the EH216-S aircraft was lifted from the first floor to the second floor by a vertical elevator platform. It then took to the skies, completing a lap at the Luohu Sports and Entertainment Park before landing safely.It made its maiden flight at the Luohu UAM Center. The Luohu District Low-Altitude Infrastructure High-Quality Construction Plan (2024-2026) outlines a comprehensive approach to developing the district’s low-altitude take-off and landing infrastructure. The plan It aims to build 100 take-off and landing points by 2026, including 32 aircraft to carry 32 passengers.
