Firefly leans into its defense ambitions with $855M SciTec acquisition

Firefly Aerospace on Sunday said that they had agreed to buy SCITEC as a defense analysis of the Defense Analysis of $ 855 million in cash and stock by paving their goals to be an important player in the national security market.

Firefly will pay about $ 300 million as cash and $ 555 million on new shares and is expected to close the agreement by the end of 2025.
