Four people were killed and 12 others were injured, four critically, after a mass shooting in Mississippi in the United States.
The shooting took place around midnight on the main street in Leland, 120 miles (190 km) northeast of the state capital Jackson, Mayor John Lee told the US partner of the BBC.
Four of the victims were diverted to hospital, he added. There was no suspect in custody.
Leland was more busy than usual on Friday, with a local high school planned to play a football game to celebrate Homecoming, an annual tradition in the United States, usually in the fall, when ex -students were greeted back to celebrate the school spirit and community.
