“Indescribable happiness” when the detainees return to Gaza

Members of the Palestinian prisoners and detainees shared their joy at the release of family and friends. Israel has released 1968 people as part of a deal to stop fire with Hamas.

The release of Palestinians happened in two groups, with one group transferred from a prisoner to a bidder on the west coast and the second by Ketziot prison in South Israel.

Hamas released the last 20 living hostages, after more than two years in captivity.

The coffins of two dead Israeli hostages were handed over to the Red Cross, but Hamas said he did not know the location of some of the other 24 deceased hostages.
