The main leader of the opposition of Seychel Patrick Hermini won the presidential election, beating the acting Wavel Ramkalawan in voting on runoff, according to official results published by the election committee.

Hermini won 52.7% of the vote, compared to 47.3% per frame.

In her speech to win, Hermini has promised to reduce the cost of life, revive public services, and unite the island nation, saying that the result is a “new chapter for all Seychelloz”.

After losing his offer for a second term, Frameclap greeted Hermini for his victory, stating that he was leaving a “legacy that causes many presidents to blush”.

The election went to the expiration after no candidate won a candid majority in the first round two weeks ago.

A former parliamentary speaker, Hermini was accused of witchcraft in 2023. What he believes is a politically motivated attempt to thwart his presidential ambitions.

The allegations were dropped in 2024, making the way to run for an office.

“I will be the president of all Seycheloa and will end the divisions by ending the preferences and allowing everyone to thrive,” Hermini said in his speech to win.

Frameclavan is the most acting one who loses elections in Africa, with Malawi Lazar President Chakwra voting from power last month against the backdrop of increasing dissatisfaction with increasing costs of life.

The Hermini Party, United Seychels (USA), won parliamentary elections with a solid majority last month, regaining control after losing it to Liny Demokratik Seselwa to Rakalawan (LDS).
