Tesla is taking the EU to court over tariffs it imposed on electric vehicles imported from China.

The European Court of Justice posted the case on its website on Monday morning. The US company follows Germany’s BMW and several Chinese carmakers in filing the claim.

The EU imposed an anti-subsidy tariff of 7.8 percent. Tesla And in October on other companies up to 35.3 percent. This is in addition to the standard income tax of 10 percent.

It is the latest conflict between European Union and Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of Tesla, an adviser to US President Donald Trump. Musk has been an outspoken critic of EU technology regulation and has supported the far-right in Germany’s election campaign.

The European Commission said it would defend the claims.
