A South African farmer has described to the court how he was forced by his boss to feed the bodies of two black women of pigs in an attempt to hide evidence after being shot.

21 -year -old Adrian de Waet said he was told to throw the bodies into the pig case, explaining that “when the pigs are hungry enough, they will eat something.”

He admitted that he had opened fire for both women with his boss – farm owner Zachariah Johannes Olivier – before ordering him to help dispose of their bodies.

Olivier and another man, William Mussora, have been accused of murder after Maria McAato, 45 -year -old, and 34 -year -old Lucia Ndlwi were killed while claiming to be looking for food on a farm near Polokan in the northern province of Limpopo in South Africa last year.

Farm’s supervisor was also charged with murder, but the charges were rejected by prosecutors when he reached the state witness. He claims to have been under compulsion when he was forced to throw the bodies into the enclosure of pigs.

On Thursday, De Waet told the Supreme Court of Polokan that he and he, 60, armed themselves with hunting rifles and waited for the offenders to enter the farm on the night of August 17, 2024.

He said, after waiting 30 minutes that they heard voices of people who speak and go towards their direction.

Then they opened fire and heard a person screaming before inspecting the area and finding a person lying down.

After leaving the area and fell asleep, they returned the next morning and found it was the body of a woman.

G -D DE WET said he was asked by G -n -Olivier to help him throw his body inside the enclosure, where eight to ten large adult pigs were stored.

The next day another body was found about 25 meters from where the first was found.

It is claimed that G -n -Olivier, G -n -de Waet and Mussora, who threw the second body inside pigs.

The next Tuesday, they returned to him and found that the pigs had bitten large pieces of flesh to women.

The photos presented as exhibits in the vessel show missing ass, face, hips and shoulders.

State Prosecutor Defender George Sechune asked, what was the purpose of placing the bodies inside pigs, to which he replied: “We have evidence, because when the pigs are hungry enough, they will eat something.”

D -de -Waet also said that he cut the hunting rifles with a corner mill and burned the wooden parts of the gun. They then dumped the cut weapons, including the cassettes spent inside the well.

The son of the victim, Makato, was crying repeatedly in court, while he was seen to wipe tears as he gave his evidence.

The case caused outrage in South Africa, exacerbating the racial tension between the black and white people in the country.

This is especially harmful in rural areas of the country, despite the end of the Apartheid racist system 30 years ago.

Most private agricultural lands remain in the hands of the white minority, while most farmers are black and poorly paid, nourishing the resentment among the black population, while many white farmers complain of high levels of crime.

Crossing by the defense attorneys of the Olivier and the Mussora will resume next Wednesday.
