The stars find themselves for a final fashion show in Milan

Stars, including Kate Blanchett, Glen loved ones and Richard Gere, attended the Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2026 collection show in Milan on Sunday, the final collection that the Italian designer works before his death.

Originally intended as a 50th anniversary of the late designer’s fashion house, The Catwalk Show has become a tribute to Armani after His death earlier this month at the age of 91.

It was held at the Pinacoteca di Brera Art Gallery, where more than 120 of his creations are displayed.

The models that have gone to the designer over the past five decades have returned to show a mix of classic costumes and shiny dresses.

They wore neutrals, green blues and purple, causing light, earth and sea, AFP reported.

The collection is inspired by the northern Italian city where Armani lived, and the small volcanic island of Pantelia, where he had a holiday home.

“This moment is talking about itself. There are many memories here tonight,” Blanchett told AFP.

Oscar -winning actress also told Reuters that Armani was “a deep human, talented individual.”

The show was followed by a visit around Giorgio Armani: Milano, Per Amore an exhibition that sees classic outfits, including GERE’s 1980 A American Gigolo, located among the Italian masterpieces of art.

Gear and his co-star Lauren Hutton also attended, as well as fellow movie figures Samuel L Jackson, James Norton, Tony Servilo, Gian Zei and Spike Lee.

Lee told Reuters that Armani was an “artist, humanitarian” and “good man”.

The last dress in the show, a blue shiny long -sleeved dress worn by one of Armani’s favorite models, Agnes Zogla, included an image of his face, attracting a standing ovation of 700 guests.

“This collection, the last Giorgio Armani, works personally, is somehow evidence of style and closing a cycle to start the new ones,” the brand says in the show’s notes.

Armani’s niece Silvana Armani and the partner and associate of the late designer Leo del’orco (pictured below) took a bow at the end.

Live music was performed on the piano by the Italian composer Ludovico Aineudi (above).

Vogue’s output editor-in-chief Anna Wintour (below) is also present at the event, which effectively ended the Milan Fashion Week for another year.

Throughout the city of Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci – who are currently shooting the sequel to Devil Wears Prada – have been spotted wearing sunglasses in the front row of the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2026.

Streep plays Miranda priests, freely based on Wintour, and some of the photos for the sequel take place in Milan.
