The Towers of the Notre-Dam Cathedral Once again opened six years after a huge fire

The iconic medieval towers of the Cathedral of Notre Dam in Paris opened again to the public, six years after a large-scale fire, they devastated parts of the historical landmark and forced its closure.

The central part of the cathedral was reopened in December 2024, but it took longer to be accessible not-dome twin towers for visitors.

In the last few years, a huge restoration project has been held to return the cathedral to its previous fame after parts of it were significantly damaged during the 2019 fire.

French President Emmanuel Macron reopened the new -born public towers on Friday.
