Lego sets really do make for perfect gifts. Not only are you giving your friends or family a great display, but also the experience of putting the set together. And with a wide range of media Lego covers, from Star Wars to Marvel to Harry Potter and more, you can always find the perfect match for your loved one based on their special interests and fandom. Or you may find the perfect match for your own interests. Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to put that gift card money to good use. Amazon has the Lego Star Wars Droideka model for build and display at 20% off. It’s normally going for $65, but after the discount, you can get it for just $52. That’s a $13 savings.
What’s so interesting about Star Wars as a franchise is that every little creature, robot or freak that steps in front of the camera has a toy around it. Somewhere has the world’s largest droidka and they have a line of their favorite destroyer droids in Lego form. One of my fondest memories of Droideker, better known as Rollis, involves walking around Star Wars Battlefront 2. This is the real one Star Wars Battlefront 2 For Xbox and PlayStation 2 – not one released in 2017.
This buildable droidka comes in two LEGO droid figures Star Wars: The Phantom Menace And Star Wars: The Clone Wars During the invasion of Naboo. Contains 583 pieces. When fully assembled, the weapons move back and forth at realistic shooting speeds. And of course, yes, it can transform into the iconic ball shape. Simply remove and reattach the legs following the instructions. I wouldn’t recommend rolling your Lego Droideka by yourself though as you might end up putting the 583 pieces back together.
The second droid is also included! You get a small Lego droid figure in addition to the main Droideka. Also included in the box is a Lego Star Wars 25th Anniversary Brick commemorating 25 years of LEGO Star Wars toys.
