A special investigative team appointed by the best court in India said that the acquisition of animals in Vantara – a private zoo owned by the son of Asia’s most rich man Mukes Ambani – is resourceful with all laws.
The team of retired judges was Created last month To consider the allegations that the animals in Vantara have been acquired illegally and abused. On Monday, he said he had found a “no fake game” in the zoo’s management.
The Supreme Court also said the allegations seemed unsupported, but ordered an investigation after the allegations that the authorities were failing to investigate the zoo correctly.
Vantara said the investigation became clear “doubts and allegations … are without any foundation.”
Vantara is home to 2000 species, including elephants, tigers and other animals.
Distributed to 3500 acres, it is located in Janagar in the western Gujarat state, not far from the Mukes Ambani oil refinery – which is the largest in the world.
It was opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March this year and was one of the places for her lavish events of his owner Anant Ambani, who made global titles last year.
Closed to society, Vantara has derived criticism from activists and nature conservationists for many reasons, including the non -human and dry climate in the region for some of the animals.
The shelter was also at the center of angry protests in the Maharashtra state recently after a sick elephant from a temple in Kolhapur was moved to Vantara in July, following an order from the Supreme Court.
On Tuesday, the court dismissed the application against the transfer of the diseased elephant, stating that independent investigation had already released authorities on the charges.
