US President Donald Trump and other world leaders signed the first phase of the Gaza Fire Termination Agreement during a summit in Egypt after Israeli hostages and Palestinians and detainees were released.
Trump poses in front of a banner, which reads “Peace 2025” while he individually welcomed the world leaders present at the event, including Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
US President, Egypt President Sisi, Qatar Emir Tamim bin Hamad al -Thani and Turkish President Erdogan have signed the document that seals the first phase of the fire termination deal.
“We achieved what everyone said was impossible – finally we have peace in the Middle East,” Trump said during a press conference.
