X’s encrypted DM feature, XChat, is rolling out more broadly

The long -awaited of X’s Feature of encrypted DMExct, becoming more widely available.

Although characteristic Send In May, Bita, Exchat is now accessible for more users, including those who do not subscribe to the X premium.

Separate from the existing DM inbox, the exchat is encrypted from end to end. Chat system supports media media, group chat, pinned messages and messages to read or identify as unlucky. Vancing mode was also rumored to work.

At this point, users can only access Exct if they prefer to use it. On the desktop, Exchat Message is accessible to some user from tab. There you can navigate to “chat” from the menu option displayed above “the requests of the message”. On mobile, the “chat” is just above the community, on the left, the original nave is appearing.

Before using Exchat, you need to set a four-digit code to protect your messages, similar to other encrypted platforms like the signal. After setting the code, you are also chosen to start messaging other users.

As it stands, Exchat is not a complete replacement of the chronic DM system. Instead, these messages now appear underneath a tab that is called “encrypted” in the chat menu.
