A deadly storm hits the southeastern US and Canada

At least ten people were killed after a powerful storm caused light floods and removing trees in the Southeastern United States.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beaar said nine had died in his country after making an emergency disaster declaration.

Another man died in Georgia, where a man lying in his bed was hit by a uprooted tree that bumped into his home.

Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina were signals related to the storm over the weekend.
