A new social app is fighting rage-bait

SEZ wants to break this cycle by allowing US users to rate posts for approval, impact, insight, relevance and gentleness. The hope is that users will think twice before provoking an argument or making inflammatory speech; Instead, the idea is to encourage citizen speech.

Changing the nature of the social internet is easier to say than to be done, and SEZ can be more featured than any product of us. However, this does not mean that other platforms cannot learn from these experiments of communal-driven restraint.
