A soldier arrested for claiming rape

The United Kingdom soldier has been accused of raping a woman near a British Army training camp in Kenya, where he was earlier accused of another soldier in murder.

The alleged rape happened last month near British training in Kenya (Batuk) training near the city of Nanyuki, 200 km (125 miles) north of the capital, Nairobi.

The man was arrested and questioned after the alleged incident that happened after a group of soldiers visited a bar in the city.

The investigation is being conducted by the UK military police by the Defense Division of Defense, which is considered crimes that are alleged to have been committed by a British employee of the UK and abroad.

The United Kingdom Department of Defense has confirmed in a statement that the Face of Service has been arrested in Kenya.

The alleged rape, including a soldier from the British base in Kenya, follows previous allegations that a soldier located in Kenya participated in the murder of a local woman in 2012.

Agnes Vanjiru’s body, who was 21 years old and the mother of one, was found in a septic tank near the Batuk base three weeks after she disappeared, allegedly, after spending the evening with British soldiers.

The Sunday Times reported in 2021 that it is believed that a British soldier was responsible for her murder.

Since then, the mod said it has cooperated with an investigation into the Kenyan language about the incident.

The Batuk base was established in 1964 shortly after the East African nation gained independence from the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom has an agreement with Kenya, which can extend to six Army battalions annually for periods of study.

But the British army faces a series of claims about the behavior of some staff in the UK in the camp.

A public inquiry created by the Kenyan MPs last year heard details of the alleged abuse of local people from British soldiers.

The allegations, including a reported incident of strikes and running, as well as claims that some British soldiers became pregnant with local women before giving up their children when they returned to the UK.
