BbcFor days, IMIZA Ali was eagerly awaiting the findings of a preliminary report on the Air India crash of last month, in which they killed his brother, daughter -in -law and their two young children.
When the report was finally published early on Saturday in India, he read it carefully – just to be disappointed with what he said he “reads as a product description.”
“Apart from the last conversation of the pilots, there is nothing that really points to what caused the crash.”
He hopes more details will be made public in the coming months.
“That matters to us,” Ali said. “We want to know exactly what happened. It will not change anything for us now, we continue to grieve – just as we have from that day. But at least we will have some answers.”

London -bound by Air India Flight 171 crashed into a suburban neighborhood in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad shortly after the departure on June 12, killing 241 of 242 people on board and 19 others on the ground.
A preliminary investigative report published on Saturday in India said the fuel of the aircraft engines was cut only seconds after the departure. The circumstances surrounding how or why this happened remain unclear.
The report states that in the restoration of voice records on the cockpit, one of the pilots may be heard to ask “Why did you cut?” “To which the other pilot replied that he did not”.
A final crash report is expected for 12 months.
Swita Parish, 41, also wants answers. Her husband Abhinav is Parish, 43 years old, and was back to London. He had to fly later in the month, but decided to go home early and found himself in the ill-fated flight.
She complains that no investigation will never return her husband.
“For those of us who have lost loved ones, we have lost them, they do not return,” she said.
“What will they do in the investigation, they tell us how it happened? The life of how many people, 250 passengers, what will they say, sorry? Everything is done, everything is complete.”
Parish becomes emotional when he talks about the impact of the loss on his 11-year-old son Vihaan.
“He misses his father badly,” she said tears. Vihaan tells her that he will never fly again in India.

59-year-old Badasab Side lost his brother, daughter-in-law and their two children in the crash.
He hoped for answers from the preliminary report, but after watching the news, he said he was left with more questions.
“The report mentions pilots discussing who excluded the fuel and a possible problem with the fuel control switch. We don’t know what this means? Is that avoided?”

Badasab Side says that his younger brother, Inaat Side, 49 is the heart of the family. His loss, his wife and his children have broken the whole family. Grief was especially difficult for his 83-year-old mother Bibi Sab.
“The loss of her son and her grandchildren made her weak. I think she is not even able to tell us how she feels,” he said.
