Amazon reportedly forms a new agentic AI group

Amazon has formed a New Group between AWS dedicated to creating AI agentsSystems that help people automatically automatically automatically automatically, Reuters reported.

Matt Garman, chief executive of AWS, says that the agent AI is likely to have the “next multi-billion business” for AII “AII” through an email seen by Reuters. The long -term ABS executive, who has previously led the company’s AI and data teams, is reported to be leading the Swami Shivsubrahmanian, the new agent AI group.

Amazon appears to be the latest company to join the technology industry shift towards AI agents.
