Google Declaration On Thursday, Android phones will soon support Arakast, a new Bluetooth technology that uses a phone to enable direct connection from audio broadcasting hearing support in a noisy environment.
With Arakast, consistent hearing assistance and earbods direct audio streams such as PA systems or an audio broadcast at any concert at train stations. Google notes that listening assistants can be applied to these broadcasts, which means users can personalize streams in their hearing.
At launch, the feature is running the latest Android 16 beta with a UI7 7 and Google Pixel 9 phones on Samsung Galaxy phones. The feature works with LE audio hearing aids compatible with companies like GN Hearing and Starky.
Google has also announced that Pixel 9 devices can now connect to broadcast through QR codes, which people remove the need to go to their settings while trying to access a public broadcast.
The latest Android 16 Beta also brings a new accessibility feature that allows less visited users to create a text outline to make the text easier. It also includes a Local Network Protection (LNP) feature that Google says “which applications will give more control to users can access devices on their local network.”
Android is expected to launch some time on June 16.
