Apple MacOS Tahoe 26: Top New Features to Try

I wasn’t Excited about a Macos update in a long time, but with Macos Taho 26 we are finally getting a significant overhall. Visual re -design and some exciting pro features, Macos Taho 26 has something to try for everyone, including a feature that Mac Nords would like. Now that the public beta is over, I have installed and tested some new features myself.

We have a good Apple design debate for a while. The liquid is glass The latest cause of angerAnd Apple is aware of it this time. As Apple says, “Visual Motif” is the initial change in this year’s updates on this year’s operating systems and has already been subjected to some intense investigations since the announcement.

Transparency is nothing new; In fact, it was already abundant in Macos. However, Taho turns transparency into another level, in a way that makes it firmly bold. The current “flat” design of Macos first returned with Yosemite in 2014, which had an anti-button method in the menus, instead of general text and size on the user interface. With the help of liquid glass, the tide turns around, with the very little opaque of the menu and interfaces bring the back buttons back buttons. These buttons and outlines are highlighted by all the glass -like borders, which gives it a little 3D effect. That part I like.

Its best demonstration is in the menu bar and control center. The control center was already somewhat noise, so I appreciate the new, simple look, which the layers of the division removed the series of circular buttons in the series. And yes, transparency is very significant, depending on any kind of transparency, depending on the effect of frosty glass. The whole menu bar across the top now disappears completely, which when Apple referred to it makes the screen even bigger. I have to agree there, until you have relatively simple wallpapers that do not obscure the text. Widgets have the same effect, though interestingly, when I changed the wallpaper, it fills in the background and removes transparency. This is a required discount.

If you use a Mac every day like me, however, small changes are it that it gives it a clear feeling of freshness. The icons are the first you will notice, exactly where the debate begins. The iconic (HEH) Finder icon has actually disguised – though they were not as vomiting as the original concept. The colors are somewhat different, though and other icons have a great, modern border around it.

The corner radius has expanded from the button to Windows, which gives everything more powerful solidarity and unity. It will become accustomed to the founder, but I like how the newly designed safari shows the floating search bar at the top.

After all, the aesthetic changes in Macos did not have such a big impact as iOS, where liquid glass has already proven to be somewhat problematic, so much that Apple has already started experimenting with dialing it. There will inevitably be zones where Apple may need to improve visibility, but I think the implementation of Macos is relatively gentle.

There are a few small designs changes, such as the ability to change the color of the folders or add an emoji to them. The control center, located at the top of the menu bar, has also been completely transparent. More importantly, Apple has added more tons of customization so you can add settings faster for change. You can even add specific settings to applicable applications like zoom.

Makos Taho also brings a design tweet to the iPhone last year: Tint for icon, which applies a united look on all your icons. Really, I was surprised that it came to Macos, as it was not well received by the reviewers. The setting for this is found in the system settings and can try it itself, it has not changed my mind. It was as intriguing as it was in iOS.

Major spotlight updated

I am most encouraged to try it since it was announced and confessed that there is Many It Spotlight Search Tools is always one of my favorite features in Macos in Macos and I look forward to taking Apple to the next level. In Tah, it borrowed from the popular Mac app, Alfred, but goes up and out in terms of consolidation. But wait, there is more. There are faster keys that you can use to speed up. Type “SM” to send a message or “AR” to create a reminder. Think of the next level key commands with them. You can also set up your own quick keys, to really extend the power and customization. For example, you can quickly set up keys to take steps in the application you are using, allowing you to set up a task quickly from the keyboard. It’s for Mac Nords who already know each other key command and I can’t wait for it to try it.

Interestingly, as part of the emphasis on the spotlight, Apple Doc have replaced the launchpad with a new application shortcut. This is a change in my choice. The launchpad was a full-screen techover, which was somewhat extra cooked. That’s why I often often see myself using the spotlight to open the apps. Based on this change in Macos Taho, I guess I’m not the only one.

AI-powered shortcuts

Shortcuts can be a truly powerful way of your Mac’s automatic work. With Macos Taho, they are upgraded by Apple intelligence, allowing you to set up shortcuts such as shortening or making a picture. You can even tap the ChatzPT (or on-divisive neural engine) if needed, establishing a discipline of activities that can be highly effective. For example, you can create a shortcut that compares the notes from the note to an audio transcript from a speech and then summarize the difference using Apple intelligence.
