At least 15 Palestinians were killed in Israeli tank firing and firing near the Rafa Rafa Center in South Gaza, according to medicines and locals.

Mohammed Gareb, a local journalist at Rafa, told the BBC that thousands of Palestinians had gathered near US -funded humanitarian aid distribution center when Israeli tanks approached and opened fire to the crowd.

Local journalists and activists have shared painful footage of bodies and wounded persons who are transported to donkeys to the Red Cross Hospital in the Al Mavasi area in Rafa, as according to the reports, the rescue teams failed to reach the site.

BBC contacted IDF for response.

Mr Ghareb said that the crowd of Palestinians had gathered near the roundabout of Al-Alam around 04:30 local time (02:30 BST), near the Help Center operated by the Humanitarian Gaza Foundation, shortly before the tanks were opened and opened.

“The dead and the wounded were lying on the ground for a long time,” said G -n Ghareb.

“Rescue crews did not have access to the area under Israeli control.

A doctor at the Red Cross Hospital told reporters that 15 bodies and 50 wounded had arrived at the establishment.

Efforts were underway to transfer victims to Nasser Hospital in Han Eunice for more treatment, the doctor added.

The spokesman for the civil defense Mahmoud Basal told the AFP news agency that the injured number was more than 100, saying: “At least 10 Palestinians were killed and more than 100 others … were injured due to shooting by Israeli vehicles to thousands of citizens.”

The incident emphasizes the difficult humanitarian conditions in Rafa, where the last Israeli military operations have seriously limited access to help and emergency services.

The crowds of civilians rushed trucks for help in Gaza on Saturday, said the World Food Program, as hunger and despair create chaotic scenes.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is a new organization supported by the US and Israel, which distributes food to certain sites in Gaza. Israel created the plan after blaming Hamas for theft of help the group denies.

GHF has said it is distributing two million meals this week, which BBC is not able to check independently.

This comes when the US is trying A broker deal to stop the fire between Israel and Hamas.

Hamas responded to the proposal to end the US fire, saying it was ready to release 10 living hostages and 18 dead hostages in exchange for a number of Palestinian prisoners.

However, the group also repeated their demands for a permanent truce, complete withdrawal of Israel from gas and guarantees for the continuous flow of humanitarian aid. None of them is in the table deal.

Hamas said he had presented his response to the US project proposed by Steve Vikof, the special envoy of US President Donald Trump for the Middle East.

Vitcof said the proposal was “unacceptable and only takes us back” and insisted that the US deal was “the only way to conclude a 60-day transaction to end the fire in the coming days.”
