Engineers’ Ven Diagram, which knows a bit about AI, self -driving and mining, has a small intersection. Ponto.I CEO Anthony Lewandovsky wants as much people as possible. And an acquisition is helping him to achieve that goal.

San Francisco-based startup, which has created a self-driving system designed for hole trucks and other off-road vehicles used on construction and mining sites, has learned Techcunch AI.

The terms of the agreement were not published. However, Lewandovsky said that the acquisition is a talent and technology drama. The small 12-person startup’s engineering team will arrive at most of the engineering team and its IP. A source familiar with this agreement says that the price of secure AI acquisition was in “millions”.

In a recent interview, Lewandovsky told TechCrunch, “There are really two players in the autonomous hole system space – it is Safi and us,” Levandovsky told Techcranch in a recent interview that Safi and Ponto took various approaches to the market. “We raised a ton and needed more people and resources to the team, so it was understandable to buy them … there is more wood behind the lower arrows so we can grow faster.”

In 2018, Ogen Stezanovsky’s co-founded Printo, autonomously used advanced sensors, cameras and artificial intelligence to operate the hole trucks. By using Printo Pollen mobileA peer-to-peer Open Source Mobile Data Network, which starts in 2022, allows it anonymously and exchanging high-speed data, which does not rely on a successor career. The pollen is used to support a little site slightly with any connection.

Printo has a rough tendency to his team about 40 people. Lewandovsky says Safia’s acquisition will help to serve more customers internationally. Last year, following a pilot program at the Texas company’s Bridgeport Quarry, Ponto Heidelberg Materials increased partnership with North America, one of the world’s largest build materials and cement producers. The technology of Panto is integrated into the Komatosu Holaz trucks, which works autonstandingly on the site.

Early this year Has announced an agreement with Heidelberg To deploy more than 5 autonomous trucks and expand its team in Brazil.

The acquisition allows Panto to meet different needs from small mines to large mines.

Significantly, the acquisition will allow Panto to provide customers a tiered technology portfolio. Printo is only known for the camera system. Safi, which was founded in 2017 and collected $ 38 million of Series B Round funds three years ago, using multiple sensors on vehicles, radar and leader. The Panto Multi-Sense system plans to use Safi’s security structure, which has been ASIL D-confirmed, is the highest security integrity level in the industry.
