In a lower court, Iridia requested the judge to charge Lavi, Hulio and some in addition to their companies. Initially, the court rejected the request. Eryidia had applied and the High Court now ruled that all three could be charged.

“This verdict has set an important legal example in the fight against Europe’s Spyware spy in Europe,” said Lucia Foresta Gariga Techchen, a spokesman for Eryidia. “The people involved will now be personally accountable in court.”

“We have no comments,” NSO Group spokesperson Gill Lania’s TechCrunch told a email.

Lavi, Hulio and Somak did not respond to the request for TechCrunch comments.
