China has warned countries not to adhere to the US in trade negotiations on President Donald Trump’s rates.

The Chinese Ministry spokesman made comments in response to reports that Washington plans to put pressure on governments to limit trade with Beijing in exchange for US tax exemption.

The Trump administration has launched talks with trading partners about tariffs, with the Japanese delegation visiting Washington last week and South Korea will start negotiations this week.

After returning to the White House in January, Trump imposed huge rates for Chinese imports, while other countries were also affected by taxes on their goods.

“Calm cannot bring peace and compromise cannot win one respect,” A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce saidS

“China believes that all countries should stand on the side of justice … and must protect the international economic and trade rules and the multifaceted trading system.”

He came after messages last week that the United States is planning to use tariff negotiations to put pressure on dozens of countries to impose new barriers on trade with China.

The BBC has asked the US Department of Finance and the US sales representative to respond to the report.

“If you put the numbers on it, about 20% of Japan’s profitability comes from the United States, about 15% comes from the Chinese People’s Republic,” said Jasper Kohl of the Japanese online operator of the Monex Group trading platform.

“Certainly Japan does not want (must) choose between America and the People’s Republic of China.”

Japan began negotiations with the United States last week, when his best negotiator for Risey Azhi’s tariffs met with the US President in Washington.

South Korea President, Khan Duck-su, said his country would launch trade talks with the United States later this week.

Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance is expected to meet with India Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a visit to the country this week. India faces a 26%tariff rate if it is unable to agree to a trade deal with the Trump administration.

After taking office, Trump has noise from tariff messages.

The US president said import taxes will encourage US consumers to buy more goods made by Americans, increase the amount of taxes raised and lead to large investments in the country.

But critics said the return of production to the US was complicated and could take decades and that the economy would fight in the meantime.

Trump also withdrew from many of his messages.

Just hours after the steep levies of dozens of trading partners in America began earlier this month, he announced a 90-day pause for these tariffs for all countries, a bar of China, before the growing opposition of politicians and markets.

Trump imposed taxes up to 145% on imports from China. Other countries are already facing the US Tariff from 10% to July.

The administration told him last week that when new tariffs are added to existing ones, the taxes of some Chinese goods can reach 245%.

Trump said more than 70 countries have turned to start negotiations after tariffs are announced.
