Google announced on Monday that it was introducing a new feature that allowed iOS users to easily work in chrome and switch between private Google accounts. Previously, iOS users had to be fully signed out from a Google account and then logged in with the other and every time they wanted to access another account this process had to be repeated.

The company wrote in a blog post, “People often use their mobile devices for both work and for personal work, they need to be signed in and out with various Google accounts,” the company wrote in a blog post. “To simplify this experience while tightening protection, Chrome on iOS is now providing unmanned account switching with data separation for accounts operated.”

When users signed or switched on their Google Account in Chrome, they will be kept separate from their other browsing devices related to their company. Local data and contents, including tabs, history and passwords, are only in the experience of browsing account operated. Google says it’s ideal for both end users and IT admins.

Google says many companies are moving away from the phone, which means employees often have to access company resources from their personal phones and computers. Google says advanced account switching experience and data separation “employees enable traders to allow their favorite device to allow.”

For the first time users signed in or switched to a managed account, they will see an onboarding screen that explains the separation of the operated account browsing and how their company is operating their data.

Companies can maintain control and decide that any user initially signs or switches to the operated account when existing browsing data is managed. Users are informed after switching to their managed account that they are entering into a managed experience.

Google has also announced that it has included more advanced security features that can apply IT categories.
