Cyberattack disrupts train ticket sales in Ukraine

Ukraine’s state -owned railway operator, Ukragunitisia, reported on Monday that it was injured by a large size cybergatetack.

CyberTack has influenced online ticket sales with mobile apps, while trains are running, according to Railway operator Its official wire channel.

Darina Antonuk, Ukraine -based journalist, Report Disrupted for Record Kiev’s central station writes that the main railway station in the capital “was abnormally crowded on Monday morning, dozens of people were waiting long lines to buy tickets for travel between Ukraine and abroad.”

In its announcement, Ukragunjitcia says (according to a machine translation): “The enemy failed to do the original work: the train traffic was stable, they were clearly driven without delay and all the operational processes of traffic were set up in the backup format.”

The operator told customers, “As the latest resort, if you do not have the time to buy a ticket through the ticket office, go directly to the train,” the operator told customers.
