Marian Turkish, 98, Yanina Izska, 94 years old, and 86 -year -old this Friedman are all the survivors who shared their ghostly memories of Auschwitz at a ceremony on Monday in front of world leaders.
People also went to the Wall of Death and left candles to give their respect outside Block 11 in Auschwitz, where thousands of prisoners were executed by SS officials.
About 1.1 million people, most of them Jews, were killed in the Auschwitz Complex, which makes it the place of the biggest mass execution of human beings ever registered.
