I tested MIC3 with camera, computer and smartphones using both direct connection and receiver connection method. It is painfully tied up with all the things I thrown from my mirrorless camera to my iPhone and the audio quality was consistently great throughout different devices and environment. This is also part of the Osomoodio system, which means the transmitter can link directly with the DJI camera OSMO 360, OSMO Action 5 ProAnd Osomo Pocket 3, still bypasses the receiver while offering high quality audio.

Mike 3 is not perfect, but I have found very little to complain. The transmitters are no longer included in the external Lavalia microphone connection, which is no longer included in the 3.5-mm input, which can disappoint people who prefer to hide their mix completely. DJIO has dropped the security track recording mode that was available in MIC2, but it is completely possible to rig one using the available options.
US availability remains uncertain; Like the other Recent DJI productsMIC3 is not officially launched in the United States due to ongoing tariff concerns. US customers may be able to source units through third -party retailers, but it is far from the ideal for a product that should be truly widely available. For a complete two-transmitter, one-time-consuming and charging case package, Mike 3 is actually cheaper than Mike 2 launch, which I think is a significantly good value for the higher product in almost every way. The DJI decision to sell separate ingredients separately is also welcomed. This means that users can start with a basic setup and expand over time or replace any damaged or lost material without too much noise.
The DJI MIC3 originally combines the best aspects of both MIC2 and MIC Mini with single, well-circular packages. It is more compact than Mike 2 and practical and much better than the mini. Content makers, filmmakers and podcasters are looking for a wireless microphone system that just works, it is very difficult to find the fault with it.
The only real question is whether the existing MIC2 owners need to be upgraded. If the advanced carrier and stretch feature set the appeal to you, Mike 3 represents a view step ।. However, Mike 2 remains a great microphone in its own way, so not to upgrade those new features and if you are currently facing the problems that you are currently facing, there is no urgent need to switch.
