Caroline Darian, the daughter of Dominic and Giselle Pelicot, charges his father, accusing him of drugs and raping her – something he has always denied.
Last December Dominic Pelicot was sentenced to 20 years in prison To druse her ex -wife, Giselle, rapes her and invites dozens of men to abuse her near a decade.
Pelicot filmed his wife’s rape, collecting hundreds of videos that he neatly cataloged on a hard drive.
Among them were two pictures of his daughter, in which Da Darian, 46, says he is clearly unconscious, sleeps in an unknown position and wears lingerie he does not recognize.
Dominic Pelicot has proposed conflicting explanations for the photos, but has always denied sexual assault on his daughter.
D -Ja Darian has long said that the photos are proof that her father had also drugged and raped her.
“I know he drugged me, probably for sexual abuse. But I have no evidence,” she told the BBC in January when She also talks about the shock of displaying these police photos For the first time.
Thehe Heated courtrooms exchange between d -Ja Darian and her father They were some of the most dramatic in the 16-week process that shocked France and the world. “I never touched you, never,” Pelikot Pelicott on his daughter during a session. “Lies!” D -Ja Darian shouted back.
Earlier, Darian said he believed it was “the forgotten victim of the process”, because unlike his mother’s case, there was no evidence of abuse that she was convinced of being inflicted by her.
She told El France earlier this week that the accusations she pressed against her father were “symbolic”, but “in accordance with what I said from the beginning: that I am a victim of chemical submission (drug attack), but has never been recognized as such.”
She hired lawyer Florence Rault to represent her.
For many years d -jault is fighting for justice for two women who have been Victims of violent trials in the 90’sS
One, a young real estate agent known as the nickname Marion, is a victim of an attempt to rape in 1999, which Pelicot admitted.
The other – also a real estate agent of his 20s – is raped and killed in 1991. Pelicot is currently being investigated in this case, but has always denied any involvement.
D -Ja Darian said he sees similarities between her and Marion. “We look strange.
In his police complaint, quoted by the French media, Da Rault complains that Da Darian has never been offered on gynecological examinations, nor has been tested for drugs used by his wife.
D -Ja Rault said the investigation focused only on Giselle Pelicot and that her client was treated as a “peripheral victim”. She asked the authorities to launch a new “serious and thorough” investigation.
Beatrice Zavaro, Dominic Pelicot’s lawyer, told the French media that Da Darian’s decision to charge was “unheard of, given his statements and beliefs during the Avignon process.”
She also said that prosecutors in Avignon in southeastern France said there were not enough “objective elements” to accuse Pelicot of rape and use a chemical submission of his daughter.
Forty -nine men were sentenced in December with Dominque Pelicot. Everyone was found guilty of at least one charge – rape or sexual assault – against Gisèle Pelicot.
Initially seventeen stated that they would appeal the allegations against themBut since then, seven of them have changed their minds.
Those who decide to move forward with their complaints will go to court at the end of the year in NIMS, southern France.
The first test – last from September to December 2024 – won worldwide attention thanks to Gisèle Pelicot’s decision to abandon its anonymity and open the public and media process.
