At least 32 Palestinians seeking food have been killed by Israeli firing near two points to distribute help, close to Khan Enis and Rafa in South Gaza, according to the health ministry in the territory.

Dozens were also injured near the two sites governed by the controversial Humanitarian Gaza Foundation in the US and Israel (GHF), the statement said.

GHF said there were no incidents “in or near” on their sites, but that there were “Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)” hours before their sites were opened.

One obviousness told Reuters news agency that Israeli shooting seems to be “aimed at murder.”

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said a number of bodies were taken to a nearby Nasser hospital on Saturday morning.

There are almost daily messages to kill Palestinians while looking for help, as GHF started operations in late May. Witnesses say most were shot by Israeli forces.

IDF told the BBC that in the last incident, troops fired warning shots to prevent the “suspects” approaching them, saying that the incident happened before the opening of the help sites.

Mohammed al-Halidi, speaking to Reuters, directed the finger to the Israeli army about the attack.

He said he was part of a group of Palestinians, who said that the GHF help distribution center was open, but when they arrived, the tanks began to move to them and open fire.

“There were no shots that had to scare us or organize us. It was the shots that were directed to kill us if they wanted to organize us, they would have, but they wanted to kill us.”

GHF uses private security contractors to disseminate help from websites in Israeli military zones. Israel and the US say the system is needed to stop Hamas to steal help. The UN refuses to cooperate with him, describing him as unethical and saying that no evidence has been proposed to systematically divert the help of Hamas.

On July 15, the UN Human Rights Service said it has so far recorded 674 murders near the four GHF sites in southern and central gas in the last six weeks.

Another 201 murders were recorded on the UN and other convoys for help, he added.

GHF denies that there were deadly incidents in close proximity to its sites and accused the UN of using “fake and misleading” figures from the Hamas Health Ministry in Gaza. The ministry data is widely regarded as a reliable number of bodies observed by hospitals in Gazan.

Israel does not allow international news organizations, including the BBC, to send journalists to the territory.

The UN also said this week that the number of acute malnourished children has doubled since Israel began to limit the food entering the territory in March. Despite the creation of GHF, significant amounts of help, including a baby formula, is still blocked at the border.

On Friday, the director of a field hospital said in a statement that they had an unprecedented influx of patients suffering from severe exhaustion, enchantment and acute malnutrition.

So far, 69 children have been killed by malnutrition during the growing humanitarian crisis, according to Hamas’s government office.

On Friday, US President Donald Trump again suggested that the fire termination deal was very close – but a Palestinian employee told the BBC that the negotiations remain blocked, with the last card to withdraw the troops offered by Israel, still unacceptable to Hamas.
