Women and children are said to have been killed in an Israeli blow on a tent in southern gas

At least 69 people were killed by an Israeli fire through Gaza on Thursday, the rescuers say as Israel strengthened its bombing from the Palestinian territory.

An air strike died 15 people in a distance from a school for displaced families in Gaza, according to the Hamas Civil Protection Agency. The Israeli military said it was aimed at a “key” Hamas operating operator.

Civil defense also reported that 38 people had been killed while in queue for help, or on their way to take it. The military said such reports of big casualties were “lies”.

It comes as the pressure on Israel and Hamas agrees with a new deal to end the fire and the hostages that are pushed by US President Donald Trump.

Trump announced on Tuesday that Israel has agreed to the “necessary conditions” to finalize a 60-day termination of the fire. However, there are still obstacles that could prevent rapid consent.

Hamas said he was studying the proposals – the details of which have not yet been announced, but still wants to end the war and the withdrawal of Israeli Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who will travel to Washington on Monday, insisted that the Palestinian armed group should be removed.

On Thursday, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said its plane hit about 150 “terrorist goals” in Gaza in the previous 24 hours, including fighters, tunnels and weapons.

The Hamas Ministry of Health in Gaza said 118 people were killed during the same period.

Fifteen people, most of them women and children, were killed when the school home was displaced families in the Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza was hit before Dawn on Thursday, the Hamas Civil Defense Agency said.

Witness Wafaa Al-Arqan told the Reuters news agency: “We suddenly found that the tent collapsed over us and a burning fire … What can we do? Is it fair that all these children burned?”

IDF said he had hit “Key Hamas Terorist”, which operated at the Command and Control Center in Gaza without mentioning the school.

IDF added that numerous steps were needed to mitigate the risk of moisturizing civilians and accused Hamas of using human shields – an accusation that the group had repeatedly denied.

At least five more displaced people were reported when a tent was hit overnight in southern Al Mavasi, where the IDF told residents of areas affected by his evacuation orders to focus on their own safety.

Ashraf Abu Shaba, who lived in a neighboring tent, said he saw the bodies of children and women wrapped in blankets afterwards.

“The occupation (Israel) claims that there are safe zones, but there are no safe zones. Every place is a goal … The situation is unbearable,” he added.

Later, civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal told AFP agency that another 38 people had been killed by Israeli forces while seeking help.

He said 25 had been killed near the corridor of an unobtrusive in Israel in Central Gaza. Six died elsewhere nearby while seven were killed in the southern part of Rafa, he added.

Medics at Nasser Hospital in the southern town of Han Enis separately told Reuters that at least 20 people had been killed while making their way to a center to distribute help.

There was no direct response to IDF reports.

Last week, IDF said it was considering reports that civilians were injured as they approached sites in southern and central gas, managed by the US and Israel Foundation for the Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

On Thursday, IDF spokesman Brig-Gen Efi Defin admitted to a briefing that Israeli forces are facing a “complex challenge” and taking up “lessons from any incident to prevent such cases in the future.”

But he declares: “The reports of allegations of extensive casualties in the centers of assistance are lies.”

Deadly incidents have been reported near the distribution sites almost every day since GHF began working on May 26th.

According to the Health Ministry of Gaza, at least 408 people have been killed near the GHF centers in the last five weeks. Another 175 people have been killed, seeking help elsewhere, including on routes used by the UN convoys, says.

GHF, which uses American private security contractors, said “the distribution of all sites is running smoothly” on Thursday and that it has now distributed more than one million boxes of food.

GHF also rejected as “categorically false” accusations of a former security contractor he told the BBC he witnessed colleagues by opening fire on civilians waiting for help.

The UN and other help groups refuse to cooperate with GHF, stating that its new system is contrary to the basic humanitarian principles.

The US and Israel say the GHF system will prevent Hamas’s stolen help.

The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023 against Israel, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 others were taken hostage.

Since then, at least 57 130 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the territory.
