Rodrigo Duterte exports speech before his arrest in March

Former President of Philippine Rodrigo Duterte, who was detained in The Hague for his war on drugs, in which they killed thousands, was elected mayor of his family’s fortress, according to early partial results.

Two of his most loyal assistants, long-time Christopher assistant Bong, and Ronald Bato, Della Rosa, a one-time police chief responsible for the imposition of his war with drugs, was re-elected in the Senate of the country.

But the average election, dominated by a spectacular feud between Dutner and Marcos dynasties, also cast some unexpected results.

The fate of the daughter of Duterte, Vice President Sarah Duterte, remains in the balance as the count continues.

Sarah Duterte – who is expected to run for president in 2028 – faces the prospect of prohibiting politics if the jurors consist of the voice in the Senate of the country to impose it.

This meant that the average deadlines – in which 18,000 seats are disputed, from local officials to governors and senators – have become a power of attorney between its supporters and its one -off ally, President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos -Jr.

Applicants, supporting any dynasty, went head to the head, with the Duterte camp wanted the nine Voices of the Senate it needed to avoid impeachment.

But an unofficial composition of 68% of the vote suggests that it is not clear which path he has been on.

Marcos -Jr.’s gups did not seem to have worked as envisaged by public opinion studies – only one of his candidates, television operator Erwin Tulfo, made the top five in the unofficial issue.

The rest of the top five was made up of the two assistants of Duterte and two independent, while there is a narrow race for the rest of the winning round of 12.

Instead, the seats seem to have gone to independent.

Meanwhile, the Vice President remains widely popular despite his political problems, and the president will leave office in 2028.

The results so far show that the Duterte has been able to preserve their base in the southern part of the country-only two months after the 80-year-old populist leader was arrested at Manila Airport and flew to the Netherlands on the same day to face the International Criminal Court.

It was his arrest – approved by Marcos -Jr. – who pushed the rivalry between his daughter and the current president of Point Point, a few weeks after the allies of the president in the House of Representatives voted for the impeach chairman Duterte.

The older Duterte was expected to win as mayor, given the family since the mid-1980s.

Duterte himself led Dao, scattered southern metropolis, for two decades before being elected president in 2016. There he showed his drug war that he lends to the success of the city and gained him the support of millions far beyond his borders.

His youngest son, Sebastian, the acting mayor, is elected deputy mayor, which means he can fulfill his father’s duties in his absence. Another son of Duterte, Paolo, was re -elected to Congressman. His grandchildren won local posts.

The name of Duterte remained on the newsletter as he was not convicted of any crime. He defeated Scion to a less rival political family.

Maintaining a political base in the city of Dao to the south is crucial to Duthers – this is where they receive the most important support of the voters.

However, the election was not just a battle between the two families.

Voting on Monday is observed long queues at temperatures of 33C (91F) and sporadic reports of violence and voices that operate.

Like last elections, songs and dance, showbiz-style campaigns played on stage and on social media, emphasizing the personality of the country and the policy of celebrities, which sometimes strengthen more urgent issues such as corruption, the high cost of life and the creaking infrastructure.
