Each attachment is based on your last-used settings, embedded with auto-direct heat and RFID chips to the Airflo. Not a revolutionary change, but the settings should not be toggle when switching the attachments every time. You can also pair it with Dyson app, which provides tutorials based on your hair type and target. Dyson also removed the fan and heat control at the base of the handle. This is a cleaner look, but if you are accustomed to adjusting the Settings Mid-styling, it can become finic.
If you have already purchased the previous air rap attachments, unfortunately, they are not compatible with this new model because of slimmer design. Also, like most dyson tools sold in the United States it is just 120-volts, so don’t plan to pack it for your Euro vack.
I have been with co-Anda 2X freshly washed, sometimes used for three weeks in air-dry hair, to see how it is against its predecessors to see it riding a bike through each attachment. I have closed the original Air Rap and I have tested the other multistyllars Shark Flexestey (9-10, Caired Recommended) And T3 Air 360 (9/10, Caired Recommended)The
The setup was easy, but there is always a slight learning curve with dyson tools. The pair with the app was fast, and RFID worked as a tech ad; Every time I change the attachments, the device adjusts to my last-used settings.
This bundle brings six attachments: a pre-styling dryer, a round brush, 1.2- and 1.6 inch curling barrels, an anti-SNAG loop brush and-my personal beloved AirShoth strainer. Curly+quail kit airline and 1.2 -inch curling barrel instead of a defizure and tension in the euphoria.

The AirSmut Strainer influenced me the most. It smoothes and curls my edges on soft C-bends under 20 minutes. The heat was gentle enough that my hair didn’t feel like singing later. I didn’t get the flat-iron-level raw, but it was close enough for a polished look.
Loop brushes and round brushes are felt upgraded, with long bridges that do not snag or tug at the damp edge. I got the hard volume and fridge control from both of them and they felt gentle on my roots. The curling barrels were designed with tips like squares, which make them easier to draw, but the results were the same: the air-borne curls that are separated within a few hours unless I tick their hair spray. It was always my biggest grip with the Air Rap. It is better on blouts than chronic curls and the technology has not developed on that front.
What I appreciated is that every time I have to swing the attachments I should not be shaking with settings. RFID memory is a small touch, but it makes the whole process smooth.
If you already own an airline or a decent dup, you don’t need to upgrade. Co-Anda 2X is well designed and refined, but the original dyson experience has not developed dramatically.
But if you do not own a multistiler and save the budget, that is the version that I bought. It is quick, more argonmic and overall more pleasant. This is unacceptablely expensive, but you will get the smutest air rap so far.
