Orlando police have restored two sets of earrings worth $ 769,500 (£ 597,000) after an alleged thief swallowed them more than two weeks ago.

32 -year -old Jaytan Guilder swallowed the Tiffany & Co. Diamond Earrings. Around the time when he was removed on February 26, police said.

Guilder was monitored by detectives at Orlando Hospital for more than ten days before the earrings were expelled from his system, according to the Orlando police station.

G -n Gilder is against charges of robbery with a mask and a large first -degree theft.

Since then, Tiffany has been cleaning the earrings.

Police say Mr. Guilder knew as an NBA player assistant so that he could be shown “very high class jewelry” in a VIP room at the Tiffany & Co shop. in Orlando, Florida, on February 26th.

The Orlando Police Department said they had led G -n Guilder to a district hospital and was monitored for about two weeks until the earrings were restored.

Detective Aaron Goss said the case “quickly turned into a marathon, not a sprint”.

On March 12, police said they had restored Tiffany & Co’s fourth earring.

When the earrings were returned to Tiffany, the main jewelry of the store confirmed that the serial jewelry numbers correspond to the stolen pieces, said G -n GOS.

Gilder is currently in custody at the Orange District Prison.

Police claim that his criminal history shows a robbery from 2022 at the Tiffany & Co store in Texas.

There are 48 separate orders for his arrest in Colorado.
