Elon Musk says a new political party is launching weeks after a dramatic fall with US President Donald Trump.

The billionaire has announced on his social media platform X that he has created the party of America and charges it as a challenge to the Republican and Democratic System of two countries.

However, it is unclear whether the party is officially registered in the US election and Musk has not provided details of who will lead it or what form it will take.

He first raised the prospect of launching a party during his public feud with Trump, who saw him leave his role in the administration and join in malicious public spitting with his former ally.

During this line, Musk posted an X poll asking consumers if there should be a new political party in the United States.

Referring to this poll in his post on Saturday, Musk writes: “With a factor of 2 to 1 you want a new political party and you will have it!

“As for the invoicing of our country with waste and grafts, we live in a one -party system, not democracy.

“Today, the party of America is formed to bring you back freedom.”

As of Saturday, there are no documents stating that the party is registered with the Federal Election Commission.

Musk was a key defender of Trump during the 2024 election and spent $ 250 million (187 million British pounds) to help him get her position.

After the election, he was appointed to lead the so -called Ministry of Efficiency of the Government (Doge), which was charged with identifying cuts for swinging in the federal budget.

His fall in Trump began when he left the administration in May and publicly criticized Trump’s tax and expenses. The legislation – which Trump called his “big, beautiful bill” – was adopted by Congress and signed by the President this week.
