Brian Wilson, the lead singer, composer and front of Beach Boys, died at the age of 82, his family announced.
In a statement shared online, they said they were “broken” by his death and demanded a privacy.
The stands of fans and musicians saw him as an icon, genius and pioneer.
Born and raised in California, the musician brought the surf to the world with songs like I Come, Surfin ‘USA and good vibrations.
