Crowley, a Florida -based maritime operation company that manages the tanker, has published a photo on social media showing 19 crew members.

In a statement, she said: “Our deepest gratitude and respect comes to our 23 sailors from Stina flawlessly because of their exceptional courage and quick actions during the recent Alysis of their ship in the North Sea.

“Their decisive efforts and work in a team to perform critical fire and emergency obligations have helped save life, protect the integrity of the ship and minimize the environmental impact.

“Against catastrophic circumstances, the crew had an operational focus to ensure that fire monitors were active to provide borderline cooling water, which led to a limited impact on only one of the 16 carriages.”

Crowley thanked everyone 23 for their courage and “dedication to safety”.

“(This) gives a powerful example of the whole industry,” the company added.

HM CoastGuard said 36 people – from both ships – were saved and safely taken ashore in Grimsby.

The main coast guards Padi O’Colaghan said that “extraction operation” will continue on Tuesday after small plastic resin balls known as Nurdles have been spotted by the Norfolk shore between Old Hunstanton and Wells-Next-the-Sea.

Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has confirmed that Nurdles’ Burned Lumps have been found. The speaker urged the public not to touch the material.

The National Trust said Nurdles also began appearing on Brancaster Beach, in Norfolk, while RSPB confirmed that it was washed in the charity reserve at a nearby Titchwell.

A trusted spokesman said: “So far we have not seen visible signs in the BLAEYEY POINT Nature Reserve and then we will evaluate the CoppyKey Salt Salt Males.

“This is a developing situation, and we are currently connecting with the authorities to understand the answer needed to remove free education and these charred lumps of plastic resin.”

According to the coast security, Nurdles, which are used in the production of plastics, are not toxic, but may be a risk to the wild if they are absorbed.

In a statement, the shipping company Ernst Russ, which owns Solong, said: “We can confirm that a number of containers on board Solong contain plastic feeds.

“We understand that no containers holding are lost.

“What we understand may have happened is that the intense heat during the initial fire efforts caused one or more of the openings of some of the smaller containers to open, leading to the release of some content.”

The company said it was “proactively unfolded assets to soften any long -term impact on the marine environment” and connected to the coast guards.

O’Callaghan said both Solong and Stena Inmaculate are “stable”, with rescue operations continuing.

“The Solong fires were extinguished and a temperature monitoring was created,” he said.

The washing is a large entrance to the North Sea, extending from the south of Skegness, in Lincolnshire, to near Hunstanton, in Norfolk.

“Regular air monitoring flights continue to monitor both ships and the extraction operation,” added G -N’Callaghan.

Rnli thanks the volunteer crews of rescue boats from Bridlington, Clethorpes, Humber, Mablethorpe and Skegness for their efforts in the search and rescue operation.

George Pickford, the head of the RNLI region, said: “We acknowledge their courage and dedication as they spent hours out in the sea facing challenging conditions.”

Mark Angelo Pernia, 38, was named by the Crown Prosecutor’s Office as a member of the missing crew.

The captain of Solong, 59 -year -old Vladimir Motin from Primorski in St. Petersburg, Russia, appeared in the court of magistrates on Hill on Saturday, accused of gross negligence.

He was detained in custody to appear before the Central Criminal Court in London on April 14.
